Curry scores the game winner in double OT in a 11–10 Calvert Hall win over Boys’ Latin.
Cardinals remain perfect in the A-conference.
The Calvert Hall offense remained patient in double overtime and just moved the ball until a shooting lane opened. With 2:06 on the clock, Jacob Kelly spotted fellow attackman Brendan Curry and fed him a great pass and Curry fired a shot past Boys’ Latin goalie Chris Brandau, the next thing Curry saw was his teammates rushing the field to mob him in celebration.

The Cardinals (7–0) defeated the Lakers (6–1), 11–10 and added another win to their perfect record in the MIAA A-conference.
Boys’ Latin was clicking on all cylinders going into the final quarter. Konnor Caplin had just scored an extra-man goal to give the Lakers a 10–7 lead.
The Cardinals hadn’t really trailed anyone in the fourth quarter this season let alone a conference foe. But head coach Bryan Kelly’s team, even though tired from the grueling schedule, was not going to allow the Lakers to win on their home turf.
Colin Allen scored followed by Curry to cut the Lakers lead to one-goal. Then a botched clear by BL resulted in a turnover in their own end and JT Bugliosi fed Jacob Kelly who buried the game-tying goal with under five minutes left in regulation.
The Calvert Hall defense was stellar the entire game. Keeping the Lakers hot goal scorers, (Brendan Grimes 1 goal and Luke Shilling an assist) mostly silent.
Another key for the Cardinals was at the faceoff line, especially in the overtime periods. Michael Autry (won 11 faceoffs) was able to win the battles and get his offense the rock.
