Summer Instruction Camp & Individual Showcase

Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse Academy (MALA) provides advanced level lacrosse instruction for athletes interested in playing lacrosse at the NCAA level.

MALA is directed by current & former NCAA coaches/players, current & former MLL players, including the region’s top instructors who have participated in coaching, instruction, and mentorship for hundreds of current & former NCAA Division I participants.

Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse Academy — Big 12 Lacrosse Invitational

Curriculum is based on advanced individual and team specific skills that are important to players understanding, development and preparation for an NCAA recruiting efforts and ultimately playing NCAA lacrosse. The Academy features up 19-two hour practice sessions, held individually, and or in weekend or week day (summer) camp settings in location in Baltimore Washington, Central Pennsylvania and Philadelphia regions.


Players are selected for the academy, based upon an application process. Interested participants can apply below. Applications will be reviewed by members of the Academy staff with input from the high school and NCAA coaching community. References are required and each interested participant must be a member of an existing club lacrosse program. If not affiliated, MALA needs to understand why. Upon receipt of your application MALA will review and notify you whether your application is being processed. Included in that notice will be details on the academy, staff, schedule and program.

Applicants will be selected based upon their commitment to the game, current level of play, input from the references provided, and interest in playing NCAA lacrosse. Programs are offered for 7th-11th grades (2022 through 2018 graduation years). 30 participants in each age group will be accepted regionally for each location.


Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse Academy — Big 12 Summer Lacrosse Invitational

MALA will introduce an Individual Showcase event starting Summer 2017. The Showcase is offered to all MALA participants and is expected to take place in late July or early August.

Individual Showcase participants will receive instructional coaching from members of the MALA and NCAA coaching community on the morning of the Individual Showcase and play Showcase games in the afternoon. All NCAA Division I programs will be invited to attend and evaluate.
