News: Former UA All-American D/LSM Marc Pion transfers to Johns Hopkins
The Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse team got some much needed help on defense with the addition of former Under Armour All-American Marc Pion (IMG Academy), who has transferred to the Blue Jays from Harvard.
“I’m extremely excited to be headed to Hopkins with such a storied institution and dedicated coaching staff,” said Pion who was sidelined the past two seasons with foot injuries which required surgeries.
Pion, who is originally from Montreal, Quebec, says he feels fully recovered and 100%. The D/LSM will have three-years of eligibility and will request for a fourth.
“I look forward to playing at (Johns) Hopkins with the great group of guys on the team.”
The Blue Jays will need all the help they can get in the D/LSM department with 2017 All-Big Ten selection Nick Fields has graduated.
