Season Preview: Mercy returns a very talented team and hopes to repeat as IAAM “B” conference…


Once you’ve tasted the thrill of winning a championship you want to do it again. And that is what the Mercy women’s lacrosse team is ready to embark on this season. The Magic won the IAAM B conference title last season and will return every starter from that team. Head coach Brian Casserly is excited to get the ball rolling and watch this tight knit group compete and hopefully repeat as champions.

Key Returners:

Senior midfielder Kaitlyn Kozlowski (Stevenson) 39 points (32/7), 93 draw controls, 26 ground balls despite missing 4 games due to injury.


Senior Midfielder Riley Rumbley 37 points (21/16) 27 draw controls, 24 ground balls

Senior Attacker Katie Yeagle (Florida Southern) 35 points (‪23/12‬), 9 DC’s and 20 GB’s

Junior Midfielder Ada Claire Tempert 61 points (40/21), 51 dc’s, 48 gb’s

Sophomore Bailey Krahl 66 points (53/13), 12 ground balls.

Out of Conference Schedule:

Kinkaid (TX) & Loch Raven.

The Magic open season today with a game against Catholic at home.
