McDonogh is the new No. 1 in this weeks Boys HS Lax Top-10 in the DMV!

Paul VI and DeMatha enter this weeks DMV Boys Lax Top-10 after both teams each completed upset wins. The Stags beat No. 8 St. John’s Catholic on the road and in overtime, 13–12.

The Panthers have won six straight and have compiled 10 victories this season. After a three-goal win over No. 3 Gonzaga, Paul VI jumps into the rankings.

Loyola Blakefield moves up the rankings after two solid wins over Severn and Archbishop Spalding setting up a big game against Boys’ Latin this Tuesday to find out if the Dons are not fake news.

Landon and Georgetown Prep both had some hiccups last week. But the Bears and Hoyas are still strong and built to overcome adversity type of teams, that will keep them in the rankings.

McDonogh couldn’t have asked for a better week. Two weeks ago folks weren’t sure what to make of this McDonogh team. But wins over Calvert Hall and Boys’ Latin this past week have the Eagles are trending up.

Dropping out of the rankings this week: St Mary’s Annapolis, St. John’s Catholic

Teams that’s Received Consideration: Westminster (7–1), St Albans DC (6–7), Severna Park (5–2), Friends School of Baltimore (9–1).
