PRLB: In your opinion what’s the best part of your game?
Clayton: Working within tight space and being a physical scorer. I play a ton of Box Lacrosse and it helps me operating around the crease.
PRLB: Now, finally being committed and how it feels to not have the stress from that process anymore. And why did you choose Jacksonville?
Clayton: I was an early commit (winter of Sophomore year). Leading up to that time it was pretty stressful though. I did some prospect days my Freshman year and then skipped playing Football my Sophomore year so that I could make some visits and do some fall showcases. I narrowed it down to the things that were most important to me and I decided that JU was the best fit. It was tough as a sophomore because I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to study in college, but JU had some great options academically. They have a great business program and their sports management opportunities are terrific. I liked the size of the school and obviously the location in Florida is awesome for a spring sport like lacrosse. After I met with Coaches Galloway, Libel, and Powell I was sure that they had an awesome vision for what they wanted to build at JU. I am really excited to be able to help them become a national contender.
