PRLB UA All America Q&A w/ the Palmisano Sisters
As a journalist I love covering lax events and finding out that siblings are playing in the same event.
That’s the case with twin sisters from Florida, Anna and Sarah Palmisano. Anna Palmisano is on the UA South Highlight Team. And Sarah is playing in the 2020 Uncommitted game:
It was fun to do the Q&A with these two because even though some of their answers were identical. Others were very opposite. For instance their favorite movie and song.

Peace Report: How does it feel to be selected for the Under Armour Underclass event?
Anna Palmisano: It feels like a dream come true and i’m so happy i get to experience it.
Sarah Palmisano: It was an honor to be able to play in such a prestigious event.
PRLB: What’s it mean to you to get tsome excellent exposure to how you play the game in front of College coaches?
AP: It’s an honor to play in front of so many coaches and I love the energy on the field when the sideline is full.
SP: It’s a really cool opportunity to be able to play in front of so many amazing coaches from great schools.
PRLB: How long have you been playing lacrosse?
AP: since fourth grade.
SP: Since 4th grade
PRLB: How did Your HS season go?
AP: We went 21 — 1 and won the state championship and ended the year ranked 5th in the Nation by uslacrosse magazine.

PRLB: What are you trying to improve on skill wise this summer?
AP: I’ve been working on my shot and strengthening my wrists for the draw.
SP: I’m working on my dodges and having a quicker first step
PRLB: What kind of sticks do you playk no with?
AP: I have an Exalt 500

PRLB: Name the favorite song your listening to now.
AP: yes indeed by Drake

PRLB: What’s your favorite movie?
AP: The Blindside
SP: Incredibles 2
PRLB: In your opinion what’s the best part of your game?
AP: The draw because it’s so competitive and it controls the game.
SP: I love how you can always improve your stick work, so that’s one of my favorite parts of the game and one of the things I try to do well
PRLB: Has the new recruiting rules made the searching for college process easier for you?
AP: Yes and no. Yes because it gave me more time to think about what i want in a school, but no because I can no longer talk to coaches and go on visits to help me with my decision.
SP: Yes and no, because it has been great to give longer time to decide but it makes it hard when you can’t talk to coaches at all.
PRLB: How does it feel to have your sister playing in this event with you?
AP: It feels so great to share this experience with her, we both are honored to be participating.
