PRLB: What Made You Decide to Commit to this College/University?

RW: The first thing I said when my parents and I got to campus was, “wow.” I fell in love with F&M immediately. The combination of the high level of academics, intellectual atmosphere, and campus and student body size was perfect for me. The coaching styles of Coach Cav, Coach Severns, and Coach A also matched how I believe a team should be coached. To put the icing on the cake, F&M is only an hour and a half drive from home.

PRLB: How would you describe the recruiting process?

RW: The recruiting process is stressful, but it’s a time of immense growth. Above all, it’s fun. If you aren’t having fun, you’re doing something wrong.

PRLB: What kind of sticks do you play with?

RW: Maverik Havok with ECD Hero 2.0 mesh on a String King metal 2 long pole.

PRLB: High School season Outlook?

RW: We want to bring an MIAA championship back to campus. We want to do this for the future of the program and for the alumni who created the rich history of the program. We’ve been applying our CHEATCODE to this offseason, working harder than any of our competition to make sure we are the only team left standing in May.

PRLB: What do you want to major in?

RW: Business

PRLB: What are your hobbies?

RW: Playing lacrosse, training, snowboarding, or anything outside.

PRLB: What’s it like being a high school lacrosse player ?

RW: Playing lacrosse in high school is being part of a small community with large aspirations for the game’s future. Playing in the most competitive high school league in the country, at a school with a rich lacrosse history, you are constantly surrounded by guys who love the game. You are constantly pushed to be better. Without this, I wouldn’t be the player I am today. Summer ball is an especially unique experience. Playing at events like Naptown, Maverik Showtime, and Nike Blue Chip, I’ve been able to meet guys from all over the country. I would’ve never been able to do this without lacrosse.

PRLB: Anybody you would like to Thank?

RW: I want to thank my parents for supporting me through high school. I can’t thank them enough. I want to thank my coaches, teammates, and friends for all their support. I’d especially like to thank Coach Ben Rubeor who helped me more than I could’ve asked for.
