PRLB Players That Shined at the Big12 Lacrosse Individual Showcase

2019 Big12 Individual Showcase – Players that Shined

 

2019/2020

Julian Giscombe – 2019 – Gonzaga HS – SSDM: at Gonzaga – making a final push to find a good NCAA home, big time athlete, great SSDM defensive skills and ability to push the ball in transition. 

 

Kyle Hatcher – 2020 – New Hanover HS – Attack: USILA High School All American – 147 points his junior campaign. Technically sound attackman with a good athletic base and high IQ. Can finish in close and be creative dodging from the outside. Did a great job at IS anchoring offensive and creating plays for his teammates.

 

Joey Boylston – 2020 – Oceanside Academy HS – Defense:Tall, athletic defender, with great speed. Showed good jam technique, ground ball skills. The South East UA Underclassman All American has the based skills to be a big time recruit this summer. 

 

Cameron Weeks – 2020 – Oceanside Academy HS – FOGO:dominated at the IS, very quick hands, wins the clamp on every draw. Big strong player. 

 

Logan Tobias – 2020 – Upper St Clair High School – Midfield: showed very well in individuals, big body, great hands, ability to get his shot off quickly or transfer in the offensive sets. 

 

Brandon Shevins – 2020 Livingston HS – Goalie: very good technique, quick hands, made a bunch of good saves at the event. Good athletic base. 

 

Kyle Carretta – 2020 Oceanside Academy HS – LPM/D:great motor, good athletic based, made some great plays in showcase games and played very well in individuals. 

 

Jack Young – The Steward School – Defense: good size, worked hard in individuals, got better as the day progress. Great inside defender with ability to defender the shooting area. 

 

Christian Weber – Bethesday Chevy Chase HS: Midfield: – good athlete, high IQ, played well in showcase games, a two way midfielder. 

 

Ryan Pritchard – Dematha Catholic HS – Midfield: very skilled player, can go both ways, high IQ was a settling force on offense at the IS. 

 

Connor McDonough – State College – Midfield: – big athletic mid, very hard shot. Plays very well in transition. 

 

 

 

2021

 

Shay Davidson – Southwestern HS – Attack: High motor attackman, does well creating separation. 

 

Ben Trumble – Culver Academy – Attack/Midfield: Really slick lefty, tall, skills in 1 v 1 situations, can also run full-field. Great hands and ability to get his short off 

 

Trenton Hassel – Eugene Ashley HS Defense: Good size, plays physical on the inside. Worked hard all day. 

 

Connor Jones – John T Hoggard – Midfield: Big Midfielder, moves well, creator in transition

 

Luke Weakland  Jemicy School – Attack: Shifty attackman with very good skills. Tough cover, a creator on the offensive side of the ball. 

 

Jeremy Robert – Clearview Regional HS: Defense – Good technical defender, did well in 2 v 2’s and 1 v 1’s. 

 

Gabe Kemp – Wando HS – Midfield: Good athlete, can create on his own, but shares the ball well when he is in the right spots. 

 

2022’s 

 

Ryan Auman – St. Paul’s School –Midfield: technically sound offensive player. Knows how to play. Can shoot well in time and room and one the run. 

 

Robert Pilla – Oceanside Academy –Midfield: athletic midfielder, good skills, good size for a 2022, did well with the older group. Fit right in.
