Tom’s Top 10 Players that Impressed from the UA-Boys Uncommitted Games

UA UNCOMMITTED BOYS

Pierce Washburn – 2020, Mid-Field, Gilman (Md.) – Club: Looneys

Washburn did a great job moving the ball and creating good opportunities on offense. Pierce has good field awareness and hustles for the ground balls. Excited to see how the Gilman middie will do in his senior year for the Greyhounds.

Jackson Muller, 2020, Mid-Field, Avon Grove HS (Pa.) – Club: Rising Sons 2020

Muller isn’t afraid to get put his body on the line and muscle his way towards the cage to score a goal. Fearless player. Also fun to watch play the game. Will be interesting to see where Jackson commits to.

John Manero, 2020, Attack, Southlake Carroll (TX), – Club: Texas Cowboys & Southstar

Manero has a tall frame which he does a good job moving his feet and dodges well. John is a wide receiver on the the Southlake football team and its obvious he loves to compete and is unselfish. Manero will continue to improve as he plays the game more.

Timothy Lucky, 2021, FO/M, Sanford (Md.), Club: True Maryland

Lucky has excellent faceoff skills and did a great job in the uncommitted game of getting the ground ball of the faceoff win and moving it to an attackman. Isn’t afraid to battle for the ground ball. Good instincts.

Connor Davis, 2021, Attack, Bullis (Md.), Club: DC Express

Davis has good technique. Moves well with and without the ball. Has good hands and scored a couple of nice goals. Works well with the other attackmen he plays with making sure they’re touching the rock too.

Parker Winkky-Wade, 2021, Attack, Horseheads (N.Y.), Club: Gaffer Elite

Winkky-Wade is an unselfish player that is alert at all times on the field. Has good footwork. Love the Lax I.Q. and ability to read defenses.

Ethan Till, 2021, Defense, Bullis (Md.), Club: DC Express

Till made a nice clear up field that eventually resulted in a goal for his team. Ethan is a pretty athletic kid with a strong six foot and plus frame. Another kid with great Lax I.Q. and should be on the radar for many college coaches.

Riley Hagerty, 2021, Defense, Shaker HS (N.Y.), Club: Albany Power

Loved the footwork from this kid. Did a nice job of poking and lifting the bottom hand when defending. Good mechanics. Never shied away from using his body to deliver a hit. Also picked up a couple ground balls.

Zach Koch, 2021, Goalie, Loomis Chaffee (Conn.), Club: Dukes

Koch has good hands and moves well around the crease. Hustles to beat out defender when ball is going out-of-bounds. Being a goalie in these type of games is tough, you’re seeing a ton of shots. Zach did well stopping several heaters.

Bode Maurer, 2021, Attack, Juanita HS (Wash.), Club: Seattle Starz/WCS/ ADVNC National

Really impressed with Bode. Nice lacrosse player with good hustle and stickwork. Positive body language. Unselfish. Scored a sick goal. Going to be a steal for which ever college team picks him up.
