The MDLL aims to launch national program to expand Development league
New Coaching hires announced..
The Maryland Lacrosse League is launching its MDLL national program as they expand their Development league. The past year they have been running a division in Anne Arundel County, and now they are expanding to Baltimore. They have 20 teams playing in their fall development league with players from some of the top private and public schools in the state. Games are weeknights in Kent Island and Sundays in Baltimore. Playoffs are slated to be at US Lacrosse. Players will have the chance to make our All- Star game and training session in front of college coaches. In an effort to grow the game they designed uniforms for the players to wear. Here is a sneak peek –

They will have a special division for 2021’s at their Chesapeake Cup on October 3rd in Bel Air, Maryland at Cedar Lane. They also have a Freshman/Sophomore division that is comprised of teams throughout the state of Maryland.
Additionally, the MDLL national program will allow a platform for players to be highlighted in Maryland like never before. Their goal is to work with the club programs in the state to highlight the best players in state. Their mission is to promote and teach the game of lacrosse in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Using their core values they will focus on developing new skills and improving speed and agility. The connections of coaches playing in their post college leagues (40 teams) gives them the opportunity to have depth and knowledge all across the league.
