PLB: What made you choose this school?

RR: The United Stated Naval Academy prepares men and women to be professional officers of competence, character, and compassion. The school was a great fit for me in terms of the campus, atmosphere, the coaches and their style of coaching, academics, and the opportunities after graduation.

Awards and Accolades

Summer 2020: UA highlight call back game. UA junior showcase team. Juniors Open #6 player. Juniors Open multiple “player of game”. Not Summer kickoff standout. Nike National Maryland All-Star Team. Project 9 Invitee. Elite 8 champion and all tournament team.

PLB: How has the COVID-19 Pandemic affected you?

RR: Really made me focus on where I am weak in my game. I ended up putting a lot of time in the weight room and working on speed and agility.

PLB: How would you describe your recruiting process?

RR: I had a handful of schools reach out, however you can only go to one! I had a lot of no’s the first couple of days. With the schools I was interested in I was able to talk to the coaches, maybe a player, and then did my own homework on the school to see if it was the best fit. And it didn’t take long to see that Navy was really the best fit for me as a student athlete.

PLB: What do you want to be when you grow up? And Why?

RR: I want to follow the same path as my dad; owning a private equity firm.

PLB: Favorite Song currently?

RR: Levels- Avicii

PLB: What kind of stick do you play with?

RR: Evo 5 with a maverick shaft. I like a mid high pocket with a good amount of hold, I play a lot of box lacrosse.
