Culver Academy (IN) junior goalie has recently committed to Notre Dame

I would like to say thank you to God, my family, Coach Surran, Coach Skiles, Coach Birsner, along with all of my friends, Esther, Mitchell, Will for all of their support..

PEACE LACROSSE BLOG: What made you choose this school?

COLIN VICKREY: Everything. At Notre Dame, you are truly getting the best of both worlds in the classroom and on the field. It is the most beautiful campus in the world. When walking around, I knew this was the place for me. Every building is designed with the same brick, almost taking me back in history, while having a modern inside. Everything is also on campus and is easily accessible by walking, making walking from classes to my dorm to practice easy. I also believe the culture of Notre Dame will fit me perfectly. I currently go to Culver Military Academy, which is thirty-five minutes away from Notre Dame. Having that convenience of still being close to Culver is also excellent.
