PLAYERS WHO IMPRESSED AT NIKE NATIONALS
Here’s the Top 1-5 Players that Stood Out to us from the Nike Nationals event from this past weekend at Carsins Run, Md.

Wyatt Hottle – Calvert Hall (Md.) – Midfield – Bmore 23’s:
Hottle is a scrappy, tough and has a no-quit motor when defending with the short stick. Hustle and foot speed are the keys here with this kid. Great attitude as well with teammates and even the opponents.
Caulley Deringer – Episcopal (Va.) – Lefty Attack- DMV 23’s:
The 2023 class is loaded with talent across the board. It was on display during this Nike Nationals event. Deringer is definitely at the top of this class. Caulley has great field sense and Lax I.Q. Defenders have a tough time sliding to Deringer because he’s so quick to the goal and his shot at the point of release is really quick and impressive.
Will Peden – Malvern Prep (Pa.) – Attack – PA 21’s:
It’s no wonder why Peden is one of the top Attackmen in the ‘21 class. Will is shifty, quick and a student of the game. Peden oozes confidence when running the offense. It was a joy to see players such as Peden, who is committed to Penn State, playing in this event at Carsins Run.
Triston Jewell – Mater Dei (CA) – Midfield – Pacific Southwest 23:
Jewell came to play this past weekend and showed why again the ‘23 class is strong even on the left coast. The slick middie dazzled with some beautiful shots on cage the resulted in goals.
Jacob Pacheco – Valor Christian (CO) – Midfield – Mid America 23’s:
Pacheco does a nice job moving with ball. Gets up and down the field well as a 2-way mid. Great size at 6-foot-2 with strong arms. Does well 1-on-1 with his defender. Quick feet. We noted that Jacob has Good leadership qualities.
