PLAYERS WHO IMPRESSED – MADLAX EVENTS: COAST TO COAST FALL FRAY
At the De_Turf Sports Complex in Federica (Del.)
We had a blast this past weekend covering and watching some of the top club programs and the best recruits in the country.
The Madlax Events Coast to Coast Fall Fray took place on Saturday and the championship round was on Sunday.
There were teams from all over the country playing in this event. We had teams from Denver, California, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, District of Columbia and Pennsylvania.
Congratulations to the championship teams and the MVP’s!

We saw And evaluated a ton of talented kids which made making this PEACE LACROSSE Players Who Impressed extremely difficult. Usually these things are easy for us to decide and do but we spent hours looking over notes and film and here’s how it shaked out.
Here are the Players Who Impressed us from the event:
6. Witt Crawford– 2022- Attack – St. Stephens & St. Agnes (Va.) – Madlax-Capital
Crawford is a star in the making. Another player we will keep an eye on going forward and anxious to see where the silky smooth Attackman lands at the college level. Great stick skills, fundamentals are solid, good field vision and has a great attitude towards the game.
7. Bruno Chapman – 2023 – Midfield– St. Ignatius Prep (CA) – ADVNC
Chapman stood out to us in the 2023 ASG. The sophomore attackman gets after it and does well not only offensively but he hustles and rides well on the cleats. Made a nice feed coming from behind cage to Tommy Arata (DC Dogs) for a slick goal! Definitely someone to keep an eye on going forward.
8. Matt Barraco – 2022 – Faceoff – Parkland (PA) – Building Blocks Lacrosse (BBL)
Barraco has a nice Face-off game that shows determination to win the draw every time out. Barraco had a dominating performance and was named the MVP in the 2022 Championship game. The Parkland junior should find a college home soon. Matt will be someone we will keep an eye on going forward.
9. Eric Grahn- 2023 – Goalie – Bayport Blue Point (NY) – Team 91 Bandits:
Grahn (featured photo) did a great job between the pipes in the 2023 All Star and the Championship games. Really impressed with Eric’s range and quick hands to stop some tough shots. Grahn is also very vocal and works well with his own defenders as well as ones he’s never worked with before i.e. the All Star Game.
10. Lukas DiGiovanni – 2022 – LSM – Seton Hall Prep (NJ) – Tri-State:
DiGiovanni is a smart player with great stick work. Lukas pushed the ball up field well. We were also impressed with how well DiGiovanni played in the 2022 ASG and how well Lukas does off the wing on faceoffs.
