PLB Girls’ Player of the Year Manchester Valley Sophomore Emma Penczek (Q&A in Article)
Emma helped guide the Mavericks to the programs fourth state championship this past season.
As a sophomore, the multi-sport athlete, Penczek put up some amazing the stats to go along with the state title win to cement her status as the Player of the Year.

Emma Penczek stats 2023:
Assists 43
Goals 93
Points 136
Draw Controls 129
CTO: 37
“Emma is a humble competitor who makes everyone around her better,” said her head coach Shelly Brezicki.
“She expects the most of herself and works to get there. She is a threat all over the field- scoring, draw, defense, making it hard for opponents to shut her down. Her game IQ and awareness are her biggest threat.”
We had the privilege of asking the M&D Lacrosse Club member a few questions about this past spring season as well as some fun questions. Please take a look at our Q&A with Emma below.
